"Active faith..." by Eric Suarez

As much as I promote functional exercise to heal many of fibromyalgia's painful symptoms, I know that unless someone is ready - theyre not ready.

If you are ready you have "active faith."

If you are not ready you have "passive faith..."

Fibromyalgia sufferers who believe they will get better someday have passive faith.

Fibromyalgia sufferers who exercise believing they will get better someday have active faith. See the difference, one is passive and the other is active.

It has been said that faith without action is no faith at all. Have all the faith you want, but unless you are ready to put that faith into some form of action, your just spinning your wheels.

Fibromyalgia is tough. But can you see? Can you hear? Can you speak???

In Helen Keller's own words she describes the power given to all of us but used by so few;

"Faith rightly understood, is active, not passive. Passive faith is no more a force than sight is in an eye that does not look or search out. Active faith knows no fear. It denies despair. Reinforced with faith, the weakest mortal is mightier than disaster."

It was faith backed by action that set Hellen keller apart from so many of us. If you go back through history you will see that the greatest achievements were all made through hardships and struggles of everyday people who activated their faith.

I promote exercise for fibromyalgia. I believe in it. I know if you activate your faith and take a step forward - there is no telling what you can accomplish, even with fibromyalgia!
