Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Here is a good email from one of our subscribers who is suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Many who suffer from fibromyalgia also suffer from C.F.S

Below her question you will find my response-

"I have had Fibro and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 17 years. After seeing many doctors (medical & alternative), I had treatments, supplements, prescription drugs and much $$$$ spent I have finally come to believe that nothing is going to change unless I take charge of my health. I must change the way I think, eat, sleep and more. Easier said than done, especially because I don't know where to start. I have been very ill this past year and gained over 20 pounds without overeating. I don't eat as much as I should. I did start Whey protein isolate shakes every morning. Otherwise, no change in diet. I avoid nightshade veggies. Can it be the Whey protein that's making me gain weight? Exercise helps Fibro but makes Chronic Fatigue worse. What is your experience with CFS patients? I would appreciate your help with these two questions." - Eileen

Hello Eileen,

It's Eric Suarez from

I am sorry for the delayed response but I've been extremely busy with helping others.

As for your 2 questions-

I would suggest eliminating your protein intake if you are not exercising and replacing it with other protein from food. Eat egg whites, chicken breast or other sources of protein.

Go to my website for more diet information.

As for the exercise and chronic fatigue syndrome. I do recommend soft Yoga for CFS. It has been proven to help without being overly exhausting.

I will email you my e-book for free after this email. Try some of the YOGA poses and see how you feel the next day.

Drink plenty of water. Unfortunately many folks suggest rest for CFS. I don't!

I suggest smooth exercises like the ones demonstrated in the e-book. Eat better, and then get adequate rest.

Most of all, hold onto hope at all costs, envision yourself getting healthier everyday.

Hope this helps and look for another email containing my newest e-book-

For anyone else interested in moving a little with CFS and fibro you can buy one of my e-books below, email me the digital receipt, and I'll get you the second e-book at no cost!

God Bless,

Eric Suarez,CPT
