Hi, my name is Jill.

I'm a Personal Trainer, and I have fibromyalgia.

In June of 2012, I was fed up of my health deteriorating and following the Doctors orders of 'rest is best'. My life revolved around my illness, most of my time was spent either resting in advance of going out, or recovering afterwards.

I was only 22, but my future was not looking bright.

I knew I needed to do something. So I turned to the Internet. I figured exercise generally helps most health conditions, so is it really the enemy when it comes to Fibromyalgia? - Surely things can't get much worse than they are now.

So I Googled 'Fibromyalgia and Exercise' and it brought me to a YouTube video of Eric talking about his book 'twelve weeks to a healthier you', I was intrigued, so I looked up his website too.

I'm not sure how long I spent reading the information online that day, my brain fog made reading and understanding anything pretty difficult, I had to take regular breaks before coming back to read more.

But by the end of the day I had read all the information I needed to be convinced, this was the answer to my problems.

I bought the e-book, and I started following the plan.

Following the program was not easy. I was sore, I was tired, but I pushed myself regardless. Following the diet was equally difficult. The idea of 'no potatoes' to a girl from Northern Ireland was absurd! But I followed it religiously anyway.

Within a matter of weeks I felt a huge difference, my energy was coming back, and I was able to start lowering my dosage of pain killers. I couldn't believe it!

Now, 18 months on since I first came across 'Fibromyalgia Fitness', my life is a far cry from what it was. I have since gone back to college and STUDIED Fitness Instructing, and Personal Training.

I've started my own business 'Fitness made Fabulous'. I have even had women come to me asking 'are you the girl with fibromyalgia?' and I have been able to direct them straight to 'Fibromyalgia Fitness'.

I've been able to help many people since I have started working in the fitness industry, and it is all down to Eric and his 12 week plan, it kick started my recovery, and I haven't looked back since!
