Another success

With all of the tragic news from the last few days, I thought it would be a perfect time to give you a little hope for yourselves in combating your fibromyalgia symptoms.

As we move into a New Year, leaving the old behind, I would suggest to all of you to start planning today the positive changes you will make for a great 2013.

If you don't think it's possible, one of our many readers, "JoEllen", thinks otherwise...

Hi, Eric. I am excited to find your website and the resources/training you offer.

I was diagnosed in 2009 with FMS and slid downhill mentally, emotionally and physically for awhile, bummed out about having so much pain, fatigue and knowing it was for a lifetime.

Then I got fed up and decided to start exercising again. I started slowly with just some short, gentle walking and stretching each day. A year & a half later, I completed a sprint-distance triathlon! What a difference exercise has made in my life.

I've found that rotating activities between swimming, biking and hiking make it possible for me to keep up a regular routine and feel better. When I slack off, I feel my FMS symptoms coming back. When I exercise, I swear I can feel the "sludge" (as I call it) moving out of my body and I feel so much better.

Thanks for the inspiration JoEllen - and your photo.
